Corporate Educational Agency, Eparchy of Palai, is the apex body that manages the Government Aided educational institutions owned by the eparchy. This flagship agency is one of the foremost and prime Corporate Educational Agencies in the state of Kerala and was instituted in its elementary form in 1951, soon after the formation of the eparchy and even before "The Kerala Education Act and Rules" came into force in June 1955. In its refined and more organised form, it was constituted in 1966 and subsequently got approved vide Order No D Dis.27603/66/G4 dated 26th May 1966 of the Regional Deputy Director, Department of Public Instruction, Thiruvananthapuram. As a further proceeding, it was registered as a Trust vide Reg No 110/IV/2018 in the year 2018. We function strictly in adherence to the Article 30 of the Constitution of India which provides us the fundamental right to establish and administer educational institutions of our choice as a religious minority.
We proudly preserve this enduring legacy by aspiring and scaling heights currently under the dynamic and eminent stewardship of His Excellency Mar Joseph Kallarangattu, our Manager and Patron officiating. He remains as a perennial source of inspiration and guidance with his erudite scholarship, profound wisdom and paternal providence. We gratefully acknowledge the farsighted vision and the tremendous contributions of the bishops emeritus Late Mar Sebastian Vayalil and his successor Mar Joseph Pallckaparambil. The eparchy"s educational initiatives and its steady continuum are the fruits of their vision, sweat and toil. It was a dream come true for the great luminaries and pioneers. We cherish the devotion of Mar Jacob Muricken, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus and the former Secretary to the Corporate Manager in fortifying the mission. All a blend under divine providence.

Managing a total of 156 institutions, we are well ahead of the curve as the largest Corporate Educational Agency, in the state of Kerala. We are enriched with a repository of more than 2000 staff working in the institutions under this agency.
Over the last seven decades our institutions have left an indelible imprint on the many lives it has dealt with. We impart catholic education deep rooted in values and faith. We focus on instilling unwavering faith in the divine will of things. We excel in developing the multiple intelligence of our students and putting in our best to shape them good individuals. We run round the clock to unfold what is already enfolded in each child and strive hard to make them fit for a peaceful co-existence.
We set the right model by keeping the influence of money off the premises of education. We are proud that the appointments are unbiased and stainless. Merit and suitability are the chief criteria of selection. We own a refined repository of tutors and other staff, our unique fort.
Under divine grace, we had a legacy of highly efficient and dedicated Secretaries to the corporate managers. Rev. Fr. George Pullukalayil is officiating currently as the Secretary to the Corporate Manager. With profound gratitude, we recall the valuable and committed service rendered by the former secretaries Rev. Fr. T C Joseph Thazhathel, Rev.Fr. Jacob Mannanal, Rev.Fr. Abraham Thondickal, Rev.Fr. Francis Vadakkel, Rev.Fr. Thomas Ettackakunnel, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus Mar Jacob Muricken, Rev.Fr. E A Joseph Enthanal, Rev.Fr. Mathew Chandrankunnel and Rev.Fr. Berchmans Kunnumpuram.
A congenial and Christ centred catholic atmosphere is the aura of our institutions. We impart quality education to the students, firmly rooted in the catholic values of faith, rationality, love, empathy, forgiveness and broad inclusiveness. Though catholic in perspective, People from different walks of life, community and religion learn together and gain experiential learning.
We focus on moulding intellectually alive, emotionally balanced, morally upright, spiritually sublime, socially committed and aesthetically prolific individuals who can tremendously contribute to the society around and the nation in general with a fine spiritual and democratic outlook always upholding faith, justice, rationality and truth and emanating the love of God and the love of brethren.
As a catholic mission, we focus on ingraining and nurturing faith in the divine. It helps the spiritual growth of individuals. We promote and sustain a Christ– centred learning environment. We teach them to find joy even in chaos. Anyone who trusts in God shall not perish and be desperate.
"Nothing is impossible if you have faith as small as a mustard seed." - Matthew 17:20As the supreme teaching of Christ, we try to foster the value of genuine, unconditional, selfless and untiring love. This includes the love of God and the love of brethren. There is no commandment greater than these.
"Love one another as I have loved you" - John 13:34This is a supreme Christian virtue. At a time of Post Truth, it is need of the hour to enhance honesty in individuals. "Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom".
"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free"- John 8:32It is a prime Christian virtue. We have to forgive and forsake as God forgives and forsakes. Without this virtue a peaceful and just world order is an ever- eluding dream.
"If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you." - Matthew 6:14In a world where many live for themselves ego-centrically, empathy has much relevance. Christ said He has come for the poor and the down trodden. We try to build good Samaritans.
Be merciful, as your Father is merciful" - Luke 6:36Christ teaches that all have dignity as everything is God"s design. We try to foster this value. "God created man in His image and likeness". Thus, we try to teach how to treat all with dignity.
"Do unto others what you would have them do unto you". - Matthew 7:12This is a fundamental Christian virtue much relevant in a world far away from peace. We promote our students to uphold and embrace peace.
"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." (Beatitudes)It is the heart and soul of the Christian philosophy of "Kenosis". The word means "to empty" or "be emptied". Humility is one of the most valued of all virtues. In a world where everyone wants to blow their own trumpets, this virtue is an antidote.
"Whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave " - Matthew 20:27Thankfulness has always been at the centre as a catholic value. Jesus gave thanks to God (Matthew 11.25). Thankfulness is a wholehearted response. It stems from a consciousness of God"s gifts and blessings.
"Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things" - Psalm 107:8-9Jesus frequently encouraged his disciples to 'endure patiently' the difficulties and obstacles they encountered and to persevere in the face of adversity. He himself trusted in God in all adversities and tribulations. It is a much-needed virtue to sustain and overcome adversities.
"Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." Hebrews 12:1Education should empower and strengthen the body, mind and the soul. Courage is much needed to uphold a life of values. In Christian vision, it means the will to lose anything in the will of God. It helps to stand up for what is right in the face of danger and hardship.
"If anyone wants to be my disciple, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me." - Matthew 16:24No education is fruitful, if it doesn"t instil hope in the child. Hope is a sine qua non to sustain and succeed. We try to develop this value in the children.
"There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off." - Proverbs 23:18Bishop, Eparchy of Palai
